QA Test Analyst, Callcredit Information Group, QA

Main Purpose of Role

To ensure that the products and services provided by Callcredit to internal and external clients are fit for purpose.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities

• Development and maintenance of test conditions and scripts
• Reporting of test progress and coverage
• Creation of test files in range of file formats
• Execution of data load routines via Callcredits job control suite
• Validation via SQL of post load data structures/content
• Batch performance testing
• Contribution to test strategies and estimates

Essential Role Requirements

• A career tester with extensive testing experience
• Passion for quality excellence
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem ownership and resolution
• Methodical, thorough and dilligent
• Proven batch and/or Data Migration test background
• Completer/finisher

Essential Knowledge

• Understanding of complex functional requirements
• Recent and demonstratable expereince of one or more of the following:
• Batch suite testing
• Data migration testing
• Batch performance testing
• Demonstratable recent utilisation of SQL Server 2000/2005
• Demonstratable and recent usage of HP Quality Centre V9.0 and above

Preferred Knowledge

Knowledge of Financial Services products and underlying data structures and content

Essential Academic and Professional Qualifications

ISEB/ISTQBB Certificate in Software Testing (min to foundation level)

Educated to degree level
