ROLE OF TEAM 

The Team specialises in retail network analysis and planning and has a proven track record working in partnership with national and international retailers across a range of industry sectors and international markets. 

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

To undertake a range of data processing, analysis and interpretational tasks to fulfil project and client requirements

KEY TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Process client and third-party data and associated data sourcing
• Perform analytical tasks to gain insight and interpret given project/client requirements
• Support preparation of project/client reports and outputs
• Adhere to department procedures and quality standards
• Effectively communicate in a timely manner to key stakeholders regarding progress, timelines, issues
• Support client-facing activity as required to ensure efficient project delivery and customer satisfaction
• Develop understanding of business environment in which the team operate and awareness of market and client issues and requirements

ESSENTIAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Data processing experience
• Analytical and problem solving ability
• Numerate
• Structured, organised and process orientated
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure
• Attention to detail

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE

• Microsoft Excel
• MapInfo Professional
• Database (Microsoft Access, T-SQL)
• Microsoft PowerPoint, Word

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE

• Statistics
• Familiarity with other GIS software
• Spatial Modelling Methodologies
• Ability to communicate with clients and understand their needs
• Business and industry sector awareness

PREFERRED

• Educated to degree level (Geography, Maths, Economics, Statistics)
• Maths A-level or minimum GSCE Grade A-C
