Senior Client Development Executive, Callcredit Information Group, Client Development

Main Purpose of Role
The role of the Client Development team is vital in the operation of Callcredit Marketing Solutions - as new clients take our software, it is this team that develops the initial day-to-day contact. Further opportunities can be identified by the Client Development team, as this relationship develops, and the appropriate feedback provided to the Account Management team. It is the primary concern of this team to develop each client so that they are using their licensed software to its full potential.
The Senior Client Development role takes on an increased level of responsibility within the team: for supporting the Executive roles, for creating/checking training materials, giving 1-2-1 training sessions, carries out communication based tasks across teams within the Marketing Solutions teams and deputises for the Client Development Manager, when appropriate.
Key Tasks & Accountabilities
1. Installation & Training of Software
• Training new and existing clients (both on and off site) in the core functions of Callcredit Marketing Solutions software, particularly the MICROVISION GIS software and IC/Discoverer the data interrogation tools.
• Be able to deliver one to one training, group sessions and workshops at an advanced and basic level. The candidate will need to design, deliver and evaluate training and development.
• Installation of Callcredit Marketing Solutions software at client sites.
2. Management of the Client Database
• Log details of all product users that are trained.
• Log details of all systems installed with EuroDirect and GMAP software.
• Update the Client Spreadsheet.
3. Manning of the Helpline
• Taking and responding to Helpline calls as a priority, and completion of the helpline log.
• Support fellow team members, who require assistance, with client queries or problems.
4. Internal Training and Support
• Train new staff members in Callcredit Marketing Solutions products and services.
• Provide ongoing support in the software to the Sales and Account Management teams.
• Installation of relevant Callcredit Marketing Solutions software onto internal PCs.
• Checking the literature produced by Client Development Executives and advising on any changes or improvements necessary before they are signed off for release.
5. Business Development and Product Management
• Arrange convenient dates for client installs and training and communicates them effectively through the team.
• Conducts regular meetings to allow any product issues or problems to be discussed.
• Takes an active role in the development of Callcredit Marketing Solutions products by liaising with Software and Data teams regarding enhancements and improvements.
• Co-ordinates data releases and software upgrades and ensures they are delivered to the relevant parties.
6. Team
• Provision of support and cover for other members of team.
• Responsible for ensuring that the appropriate person delivers the training whilst maintaining effective cover on the helpdesk.
• Responsible for the mentoring of Client Development Executives and the setting of goals and targets to help improve performance.
• Delegates tasks effectively to allow fellow team members to develop.
• Produces development plans to ensure Client Development Executives receive regular and appropriate training.
• Undertakes regular observations and provides constructive feedback to the Client Development Executive and Client Development Manager.
• Assists in the recruitment process.

Problem/issue resolution management – anticipate and recognise concerns, issues, problems/obstacles and suggests solutions
Initiative – establishes what needs to be done and takes responsibility for doing it, and displays determination in reaching resolution

Training qualification
Preferred:
Marketing understanding - important concepts, techniques and practices
Industry awareness – gains awareness of current trends by regularly reading industry publications, websites and attending events
